Associate Vice President

Abril Barba is an Associate Vice President at BODEN, currently leading U.S. Hispanic brand engagement strategy and communications programs for McDonald’s, Target and the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation®. She specializes in media and influencer relations, brand activations, executive training, and digital content development.

Abril previously served as Account Director at global public relations firm Burson Cohn & Wolfe, where she developed and rolled out communications programs for clients across a wide variety of industries including CPG, retail, food and beverage, travel and tourism, education, banking, and the non-profit sector.

During her 20+ years career, she has worked on numerous award-winning campaigns, recognized by PRWeek, PR News, Marcom, Ragan Communications, HPRA Bravo, ANA and Effie U.S.

Abril graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami and holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication, specializing in Broadcast Journalism with a double major in Spanish.
