Jennifer Diaz-Alzuri

Jennifer has more than 20 years of experience working with global brands.  Before joining BODEN, she founded JDA Communications, specializing in travel, hospitality, lifestyle, and destination marketing.

Previously, she was Vice President of Global Communications for the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB). Under her leadership, the Miami brand grew its public relations network to nearly 20 global markets.  She created the organization’s experiential marketing program taking the Miami brand on the road to marquee events such as the Sundance Film Festival, Coachella, and Fashion Week in NY, London, and Mexico City. Jennifer also led crisis communications for Miami and was instrumental in the recovery efforts during COVID-19, Zika, and the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. In addition, she also served on the Communications Committee for The U.S. Travel Association and on the Communications Task Force for Brand USA. She also worked on brands such as Del Monte Fresh and Perry Ellis International.

Jennifer began her communications career at global public relations firm, BCW, where she developed award-winning Hispanic campaigns for global, consumer-packaged goods company, Unilever. She also led Hispanic public relations programs for Miller Brewing Company and Lincoln-Mercury and served as the head of the BCW U.S. Hispanic practice in Chicago.

Jennifer is a mom of two boys and is a proud Cuban American.  She has an MBA in International Business from the University of Miami and currently splits her time between Greenville, South Carolina, and Miami, Florida.
