Alba Salvetti

Alba is a Director of Communications and Culture at BODEN. She has extensive experience leading Corporate Communications and Public Relations efforts for the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American markets.

She is the founder of  Lumina Communications Inc, specializing in internal communications and executive positioning. For over a decade, Alba counsel internal communications counseling to Johnson & Johnson Latin America’s Medical Devices, Global Community Impact (GCI), and Global Public Health (GPH) divisions, and to Janssen.

Previously, Alba led multicultural and multidisciplinary campaigns at Burson Cohn & Wolfe (formerly Burson-Marsteller Latin America), for Healthcare clients GlaxoSmithKline, Allergan/Botox, and Merck, and Technology clients AT&T, Nextel, and QUALCOMM. She was part of the communications team that led the launch of  AT&T Latin America, a publicly-traded company that originated from AT&T, and the merger and acquisition of several telecommunications organizations in the region.

Alba also worked at Burson Cohn Wolfe Mexico, where she developed media relations for AT&T Mexico that strengthened the company’s positioning in the local telecommunications sector. She also established a solid executive thought leadership platform and secured editorial opportunities for Qualcomm/Omnitracs executives in top local media. Before joining the PR industry in her native Mexico, she was a Communications professor at Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.

Alba holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Universidad Iberoamericana. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Digital Strategy from the University of Florida. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

Alba is originally from Mexico, she lives in Miami, Florida, with her husband and two children.
